Expressing emotion is one of the most beautiful traits of mankind. With people increasingly expressing their emotions in text format behind a screen, we wanted to pay homage to the facial expressions related to 8 primary emotions.

We created a dish to represent each of these emotions and on the 5th and 6th June we will be organising a tasting session that will include 8 dishes representing Disgust, Anger, Fear, Sadness, Trust, Anticipation, Joy and Surprise. Each dish has also been carefully paired with a beverage and will cost €75 per person.

It does not come as a SURPRISE to us that Vegan dishes can be full of flavour. Our Vegan dinner will include 5 vegan courses at a price of €50 per person. On the day you may also purchase a selection of biodynamic and vegan wines.

Since we opened our restaurant in 2016, we have been very receptive towards all those people who prefer to eat plant based food. During this day our restaurant will only be serving Vegan food. We encourage all those people who may be sceptical to try this experience too. 

On the day you may also purchase a selection of biodynamic and vegan wines.

BAHIA - Vegan Night - €100 per person food only

For many couples, this day is used to attest their love to their partner. Many, use a restaurant as their vehicle to demonstrate this.

We are always honoured to be the chosen destination for such declarations. Our job on this day is to make sure these couples are served immaculately and that their taste buds can experience indelible sensations.

Guests will also have the ability to purchase beverages that will be paired with the respective dishes. 

BAHIA - Valentine's Day - €120 per person food only

During lunch on Sunday the 22nd March, Bahia will be forwarding all sales generated from its service to a member of the restaurant community, Kurt Spiteri.

On the day we will be serving 5 courses at a price of €50 per person. During lunch, a wine pairing option at €25 per person will also be available.

From the 16th March to the 21st March we will also be placing an optional donation of €5 on each bill for the same cause.

Taste fast food like you've never before. Full of twists and turns this is our second edition of this event and we are looking forward to proposing this experience to our guests.

What is it like to eat food and drink wine, BLINDFOLDED? Your senses will get sharper. You may get slightly anxious. Yet there is a hidden pleasure that can only be explained when experiencing this.

Bahia is pleased to organise its 4th Blindfolded dinner to celebrate its 1st anniversary at Corinthia Palace in Balzan. 

Please note that since everyone will be served at the same time, we will not be in a position to delay the start of the event.

Valentine's Dinner

Kindly note that today, guests making reservations at 6pm will be kindly asked to release the table at 8pm. Due to the new COVID measures, guests making reservations at 8:15pm will be kindly asked to release the table at 11pm.

Every Thursday, from the 25th of March up to the end of 2021, we are launching an initiative where all UNDER 25's will get a 25% discount on their food.

We are really excited to encourage a younger audience who loves food, to explore our contemporary cuisine. To celebrate this initiative, only UNDER 25's will be able to book Bahia on Thursday 25th March. Our 7-course tasting menu, worth €70, will be offered at €50, instead.

From the following Thursday, the 25% discount will apply to our a la carte menu.

Please note that beverages are not included in this initiative and that an identity card or driving licence will be required to validate the age. Only guests under the age of 25 may benefit from this initiative.

On Sunday 20th June we are celebrating Father's Day.

To celebrate our 6th birthday, BAHIA will be going UPSIDE DOWN on the 4th and the 5th October.

We are so happy to bring back this event for the first time since we moved inside the Corinthia Palace in Balzan.

The price per person for this 7-course upside down dinner is €90. 

In the case of a no-show or a cancellation within 48 hours of the event, the restaurant reserves the right to charge €90 for each person. Cancellations 48 hours before the beginning of the event carry no charges.

BAHIA - UPSIDE DOWN - Event

BAHIA will be collaborating with Marsovin to celebrate the latest Grand Maître vintage and to highlight other vintages from this range.

Marsovin’s Grand Maître 2020, ‘Annata Fra Antonion Manoel de Vilhena’ was released in early October and is now the 23rd vintage of the prized and highly sought after flagship wine produced by the Maltese premium winery.
